Passionate About Helping Others Live More Empowered Lives

The goal of Nigel P James Counseling Services LLC is to help individuals/couples get to the root of their problems, develop tools to empower their lives, and live either at, or as close as possible, to their highest potential. I do this using a combination of CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, attachment theory, person-centered therapy, strengths based approach, mindfulness, and EMDR. Ultimately, it's my desire to help you increase your sense of agency, so that one day, you are essentially your own therapist, handling whatever life throws your way.

Nigel P James Counseling Services LLC is a supervised private practice. It is owned and managed by a master's level, non-independent licensee under Board-approved clinical supervision pursuant to A.A.C. R4-6-211. The Board-approved clinical supervisor of this practice is Susan Moffitt LPC (602-881-1831/Susanmoffittlpc@gmail.com).

Nigel P James Counseling Services LLC does NOT accept insurance. All payments are out of pocket. Sliding scale fee can be discussed if there are financial concerns/constraints. The following payment methods are accepted: American Express, cash, Discover, HSA, Mastercard, and Visa.

  • Licensed Associate Counselor in AZ - LAC-22857

  • EMDR trained

  • MA in Clinical Psychology, Pepperdine University (2024)
